The State of Resilience Hubs in the Bay Area
This workshop will introduce participants to resilience hubs, their definitions, and the Urban Sustainability Directors Network’s five components. We will also map out organizations who are working on or collaborating with resilience hubs. Guest speakers include:

Session Two: Tuesday April 24th, 1-3 pm
Funding and Development of Resilience Hubs
This session will focus on two important topics: getting started on developing sites as resilience hubs, and potential sources of funding for them. We will hear from sites just getting started, and learn about both public and private funding to support them.

Session Three: Tuesday May 22nd, 1-3 pm
Building a Network and Next Steps
This last session will provide insights into how we can move forward in taking this work to the next level. We will look at different types of networks, analyze together how organizations could support each other at both the city, county and regional levels and brainstorm about next steps for resilience hubs.

Join Regeneration Pollination and the Global Regeneration CoLab for a solid hour of “speed networking” – simply talking 1-1 with fellow workshop participants working on resilience hubs. It will be hosted by facilitators and is a great opportunitiy for fun, short (6 minutes), one-on-one conversations online!

April 17th: noon-2:30: Tour of the RYSE Center
Take a tour of the RYSE Center, an innovative youth center in Richmond CA touted as an exemplary resilience hubs model. Learn about their resilient energy system, innovative youth progamming and more. After the hour-long tour we will provide snacks and an opportunity to meet each other.
