about COLLECTIVE RESILIENCE
Purpose and History
The purpose of Collective Resilience is to inspire people-powered, nature-inspired and equity-based resilience through place-based projects. Our intention is to help guide resilience hubs, spaces and blocks to evolve and flourish through training workshops, equitable funding distribution and authentic cross-sector collaborations. We strive to honor Just Transition principles.
Collective Resilience was founded in January 2022 as a nonprofit partner of Planting Seeds Consulting. CR Founder Susan Silber birthed the Resilience Hubs Initiative through her work at the NorCal Resilience Network. The organization is based in the Bay Area, CA.
Collective Resilience is a fiscally-sponsored project of Inquiring Systems, Inc.
